Be part of the world’s biggest one-day swimming event. Swim 125 yards (5 lanes) and donate $5 to end polio. Swimmers of all abilities are welcome. Money raised for this project will benefit Rotary’s signature project End Polio Now. To register swimmers visit http://www.lakenormanrotary.org/ncrotaryswim.

Polio has been reduced worldwide by 99%. Every dollar Rotary commits to the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF in direct support for polio immunization will be matched 2 to 1 (up to $35 million per year) by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The Rotary Club welcomes sponsors, and donations are tax deductible. Contact Rotary at swimarathon@lakenormanrotary.org. Follow them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ncrotaryswim. The Club will hold Rotary Day in conjunction with the Swimarathon. It is a fun, informal community event for everyone to introduce them to Rotary. Consider attending the swim, meeting new friends and learning about Rotary.

The Rotary Club of Lake Norman-Huntersville meets weekly on Thursday mornings from 7:30-8:30am at Northstone Country Club in Huntersville, NC.
